Surgical camp in Kaaza

We have previously held an annual surgical camp in Kaaza, often the only surgical service the population of 12000 people who live in this region have access to. Covid had halted this for the past two years. We are glad to be able to start this service again this year. Our camp will run from the 9th to the 14th of October. 

As usual we will take a whole team with us including anesthesia, radiology, lab, pharmacy, eye, obstetrics and surgeons. This camp was usually funded by the NRHM but we have received news this year that as a policy NRHM has stopped funding these camps! 

We are exploring alternate sources of funding but will go ahead with the camp nevertheless. Such is our commitment to the people of Kaaza.
