Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging Technology, or related field.

Job Description:

The Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, mammography, and other radiological procedures as prescribed by physicians. The role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, radiation protection, and proper operation of radiology equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and other radiological examinations.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and positioning them correctly.
• Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Maintain patient records and imaging documentation accurately.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during specialized procedures when required.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and cleanliness of imaging equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance services.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Visit peripheral centres and Health Camps

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging Technology, or related field.
• Valid professional license/registration as per applicable regulations.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging services preferred.
• Knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
• Understanding of radiation protection and patient safety practices.
• Ability to operate digital radiology and PACS systems.

• Experience in CT, MRI, Mammography, or Ultrasound assistance.
